"Mrs. B."  What's up with that?

OK..... Just who the heck is "Mrs. B." anyway?  Well... that would be me...however it's just my internet nickname.   The real Mrs. Bruschi  would be Heidi but nicknames just have a way of taking on a life of their own and taking off... especially on the internet. Everyone online has a handle and this one just evolved. So here's the scoop on my alias and we'll leave it at that.

Everyone who knows me, knows that I'm a passionate  Patriots fan but they also know that I take pride in being  known as a "Full Tilt, Full Time" Bruschi Backer.  I belong to several Internet email lists and also post on Patriots message boards and Usenet.   I usually do much more reading than posting (except during training camp)  but it doesn't take people long to realize that most of my posts are Tedy related... (Of course, I always take the opportunity to give the man his props!)  A few years back it  had become abundantly clear to all that I was a  solid backer... thus my fellow Listnik and southern gent, Bama, christened me Mrs. Bruschi or Mrs. B. for short.  Of course, the fact that I never attend a game without the name Bruschi emblazoned across my back adds to it! (I mean people aren't about to call me Mr. Bruschi now are they?!)

Before long,  "Mrs. B." began to emerge and "Karen" began to fade away around Pats' circles and Tailgates because everyone was calling me Mrs. B.  In fact, it took a full year for Miguel (the Pats' salary cap Guru) and fellow Listnik to realize that I wasn't the real Mrs. Bruschi making training camp posts!  However, it's at the point now that when people call me Mrs. B., I don't even think Bruschi at all.... it's just plain old "Mrs. B." and it's my online name. Yes.... even my husband calls me Mrs. B. these days!!
